I Cling to You

From Broken Battles, that keep lying ahead
I'm trying to get back to where I need to be
But so many things have come across my mind
what do you want for me
everything's crowding my head
I don't know the purpose of life
the destiny you planned for me
so confused for what path to take
my life is beginning to feel like a mistake

I cling to you, I cling to your word
I cling to all you stand for
I know my God, and HE's always there
Always watching me,
always helping me, always guiding me
to the place where I belong


Though life is uncertain at times
and feels to hand to handle
realize that there is a God, that cares for you
HE's the truth that we seek
when we feel timid and weak
when we lose strength to stand, He's always there
lending a helping hand

Nothing is ever what it seems to be
Your word just simply says, "Follow Me"
